Job Description: We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Legal Services Provider to join our team at Love Vocals. The ideal candidate will offer their expertise to assist our vocal artists and the organization in navigating the legal complexities of the music industry, ensuring that their rights and interests are protected.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice and support to vocal artists on various issues including contracts, copyright, intellectual property, licensing, and royalties.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts on behalf of artists, including recording agreements, publishing deals, management contracts, and performance agreements.
• Offer guidance on legal matters related to online content, social media, and digital distribution.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations within the music industry.
• Assist in resolving disputes and legal issues that may arise between artists and third parties.
• Conduct legal workshops and webinars for artists to educate them on their rights and legal considerations in the music industry.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a cohesive approach to artist support and career development.
• Stay updated with changes in laws and regulations affecting the music industry and advise the organization accordingly.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Valid license to practice law.
• Proven experience in entertainment law, with a strong focus on the music industry.
• Extensive knowledge of contracts, copyright law, intellectual property, licensing, and royalties.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
• Passionate about music and committed to supporting artists in their career development.
• Experience working with vocal artists or in the music industry is a plus.
